Would anyone be interested in playing a game of this together after the DIPLO game, thinking on discord?

Edit: seems like a board game. I'd partake if it helps fill the game/improves the experience but you can probably imagine my headspace is less than great rn

I just had a couple of questions for the people who are still around: 1) If you're still playing Mafia (or similar forum games), where are you playing these days? I looked at a couple of alternatives in case I wanted to play a game (mainly for nostalgic reasons ![]() 2) If not Mafia, are people playing other games with somewhat similar themes like Diplomacy? I heard that playdiplomacy.com was hacked/abandoned or something, and I couldn't easily find a Diplomacy site that people agreed was a good place to play these days. I used to like playdiplomacy.com in the past but I've read enough negative things about it in recent years to discourage trying it out as well. 3) If neither of those, is there something else new that is interesting? Preferably something that the average past Mafia / Diplomacy player might be expected to enjoy. 4) How many people are still lurking around the TL Mafia forum anyway? There seem to be a few accounts that have continued posting from time to time, but I assume the amount of people not posting but still viewing this forum is considerably higher. If there are enough people still somewhat active (such as 5-20 people, for example?) then perhaps it would actually be possible to try something for the old times' sake. Such as a Mafia / Diplomacy game, or something like that, depending on what people like these days. I don't think I can invest a large amount of time into anything for the long term, but the next month or two shouldn't be all *that* busy for me.

They‘re the type of community you go in to post sensibly most of the time and respecting the local hierarchy which isn‘t obvious at first. On mafiascum you‘re never really sure what you‘re up against. Slow ‚low apm’ games with intransparent community and sandbagging players, but I found them alright for a few games. I‘d like to stick with TL but that depends on the hosts. Not really a diplo fan myself. You can play mafia on US pol nowadays it feels very similar.

Yeah, I assumed that they would be much more moderation/ban-happy. Not sure if I really want to try my luck - although I've actually never been banned on any forum, no matter how strict the moderation is, I don't really like having to focus on being cautious about which words to use etc. too much. When was the last TL Mafia game actually? :D
