Ok I'll take one for the team there. That's not me being lazy... That's me not reading the role pms 100%. In looking at the OP roles sent, I don't think I was supposed to send a Paint. Like I 100% have no clue what the role pms actually were.

I see what rayn sees, rayn calls me town. DP rage. I think what rayn/me did was borderline breaking the rules because "we are not allowed to paraphrase" what our role pm said. So you can't really say that the role pm only gave the last name. If Sentinel painted the copcheck and giving that to Hopeless and Hopeless posted that in the thread, then that is really modkill worthy. I don't know if you guys saw that. But if you allowed that, that would be strange.

I have to agree with DP that it's unfair though, and also town being in a position where just playing "follow the cop" is possible is a little lame imho. Even if given the possibility I would 100% do it ^^ begging for cop claims as cop isnt that farfetched. It keeps suspicion on you and scum bullets off you which is kind of what you want as blue. I don't know, I think the best you can do to get scum bullets off your back is just not taking part of all the blue wifom talk at night. If you check the scum qt, you are never been mentioned as a potential cop or medic. Your attitude is simply the best to have I guess  i was hoping to leverage my scumminess into developing a redcheck, which is probably why I was so set on checking holyflare, because he was one of the only people to call me scum. so you play scummy and then assume the people calling you scum are mafia...? x_x?

Oh god no. As town, be town. You don't need to look scummy, you don't need to do anything else. Find people to push for good reasons. +1 good wagons and sheep good wagons. There's literally zero reason ever to try and look scummy.

The point of a newbie game for video players is moreso to see how the game translates in a forum function. It's not the best option but it's pretty ok. What I would 100% love to see is a hydra game where good/experienced players here team up with newer/less experienced players. I tried to set it up at one but but got too busy with school. I'd love to see someone set that up so that players can bounce ideas of what's good/bad off of each other. Honestly, hydraing with you in Duke Nukem was a phenominal experience for my growth and I think that doing more of that would seriously help a number of other players as well. Being exposed to the thought process of other players in a direct, clear and 1:1 manner really helps people develop as players.

Tbh I personally doubt I ever would have thought of that as a player. I'd claim from soap or summarize (I'm cop). Even if you think it's bad, it was the nail in the coffin. There were far more reasons to lynch DP than just the role claim thing.
Overall I 100% agree that role pms should almost always be directly from the OP. I made a few exceptions in my game because but other than the scum roles (which were like 4) there were only 2 roles which weren't essentially quoted from OP (universal backup got told they "read to cop as whatever the alignment of the role they choose is" and role cop which always reads as town; granted assassin was also miller so...).
