pick/ban is part of the game.
And even then, interrupting Kha'Zix's E or Shyvana's R with such regularity using predictive Flays and Trundle pillars isn't exactly easy. Hai got cockblocked or denied escapes 3 teamfights in a row early on, that punished him hard.
Of course there's still his derp mid that caused him to die...

Oh for sure and C9 screwed up massively there, I'm talking about the people criticizing the ingame performance of C9 when the game result was more or less a logical result of the 2 comps and the skill with which EG played it.
That's pretty much what should've happened when they tried Kha mid last week but lmq overdove a few times and failed to close out properly. Maybe they'll actually stop trying to run it now.
Good for eg though, it'll be fun to see altec and pobelter continue to grow

Snoopeh isn't a real problem, he was utility forever. If Pobelter and Altec one-two punch shows up, they roll, if no - gg.
Snoopeh is part of the problem, but not the main issue. They have no idea what to do with a lead, they don't know how to snowball a lead. They need better support crew, a strong coach and analyst.

Snoopeh is a pretty huge problem . He very rarely creates map pressure for the rest of his team to take advantage of. When a team can choose to ignore the jungler like that, it's such a big problem

Good players make a team. Good support makes teams win.

Agreed. They have enough talent+experience to be successful, just more stability and slightly better laning/rotations and EG are really top-6 material over Curse for sure.

He pretty much never created anything alone. If EG rotates as five like that game, EG are going to be okay, that's basically Cloud 9 strat to rotate hard to hide skill difference.

Go ahead with operation helios' retirement home, make snoopeh a coach/analyst. Two birds killed with one stone

LMQ didnt nearly have the amount of control that EG brought.
I would more point the problem to EG correctly identifying the comp stands and falls on Hai's ability to get resets and made a comp that denies that.

The more and more I watch teams play, this is not an individual problem, but a lack of early game strategy.

I have no idea why you say this. It is VERY much an individual problem. C9 can choose to ignore a whole role on the EG team, and not have any negative consequence. No jungler should be ignored. Even with the current trend of junglers being a secondary support/ward role, he should still be creating vision/space.
