My memory is pretty fuzzy. You are correct that Nien's top Elise was hyped up when he first started that top role, but I recall Jiji's jungle elise as being one of the better NA Elises. I guess it was for both of them, but I believe the Elise bans went throughout the season rather than just the beginning. This leads me to believe it was targeted at Jiji. Of course, honestly, I have terrible memory, so I'm not 100% on any of this.

This is true. I enjoy the OGN style as well. I can't wait for the OGN Finals coming up. They make this game look a lot more refined and beautiful with some of the plays. It's a bit disheartening to see how far behind NA feels in comparison

A bit later C9 takes the mid inhib.
A fight erupts at XDG's bot inner, they explode Hai's Yasuo immediatly but Lucian isn't here and WW gets killed super fast too, leaving noone to fight Shyvana as she zones XDG off the tower. A second inhib ensues.
C9 then pushes mid for the win.

I think Nien gets a bit too much crap for his play, though he isn't amazing. But honestly I feel like that's the case with many top laners... not many stand out to me.
I just wish he stayed ADC though since he was so damn good at it. I'm still sad that Vulcun didn't pick him up for the last season.  They would have been so damn good!

I can agree with this. I was more trying to recall who the Elise players were, and how well they did. The two that kinda stuck out for me were Meteos and Jiji last split. That's why I mentioned them earlier.

Nien could have stayed ADC if ecco and megazero didn't go full retard vs VES. Or he had a jungler.
