Honestly it seems like there are just so many people focused on criticizing every single game he does poorly in, while not giving him any credit when he does well (and he's not the only player that has that issue). He still does have games where he carries hard and shows his skill, especially in the late game. But yeah he's not the best in the world, and probably not even best in NA though it's hard to say with supports playing such a big role.

You should try something though. Think of a good ADC you see often on a team that wins about 50% of games in the LCS. Maybe Creaton or MrRallez... whoever. Then be very critical of every time they don't play well. You will be surprised how often they seem to make stupid plays in games they are playing poorly in. It's easy to get blown up and not carry your team as an ADC.
