Anyway: Why all ROCCAT matches are so late? My work starts at 7:00...... I agree, it's like Laguz getting offended when you call them sub-humans, or Beorc getting offended when they are called humans.

Alliance is interesting to watch. Can they pull themselfes out of their misery or was it just the start of a journey threw hell.

"Polaks" in Russian language is just name of Polish nation basically. But i guess, it's same to example which i will list next.
Sometimes, Ukranians say about Russians "moskali", which is basically insult, i dunno why. Never took it as offense. It's same as we say about Ukranians in joke that they're "saloedy", which is joke about Ukraine and their love to lard. Same here.
HOPE ALLIANCE WILL WIN TONIGHT ANYWAY. #hwaiting

I was unable to watch any games unfortunately. Are Alliance really that bad?

No team synergy and no good plays. Weird item choices sometimes.

If it means anything, MonteCristo and Thorin both maintain faith in Alliance and that they'll end up in the top 4. This is simply a (big) growing pains phase for the team.

I stand by froggen being overrrated. He maintains a good kda but I feel like his greed (afk farming, won't die even if it helps the team) hold back any potential he has to be a dominant player. It's the froggen show or gtfo.

well, their laning phase was generally decent.
The thing that lost them the games were stupid calls and lack of teamfighting ability. The stupid calls were either a result of lack of practice together or lack of an strategically intelligent player.
One is fixed easily, the other not.
It would also help if Froggen would lane against Faker/Ryu/Dade (well, unless Faker breaks him again) a bunch of times to deflate that ego.

Losing top inner turret because he wanted to farm in their first game highlights froggen's issues. Maybe that extra 200g makes a difference if he ever landed a good cask.

Had even trouble always finding scrim partners because they were basically scrimming all the time. Also most of the time they just stomped opponents in those scrims from what you hear. So that easy fix is clearly not there.
Idk, maybe their glaring weakness in rotations and calls was not revealed in scrims because they usually won early and rarely had to play an even mid/late game? Like in the games vs Dignitas.
In any case they are in trouble imo. Not because they went 0-3, but because of how they played. On the other hand, LD was able to fix their bad calls mid season after Mithy joined.

To be honest, there were some good plays with almost everything made by Shook. But synergy, eh. *sigh*
To be honest, i will be ok with [A] going 0-4 this week. This have to be a signal for everyone, that there is big work to do and no red carpet to first place.
They will recover, i believe.

once amazing and youngbuck get their teamplay together and maybe amazing focuses on bot lane a bit more, especially when dragon is up, they will crush everyone, absolutely everyone. I believe
when CW get a little bit of room to play with they just play brilliant, their loss against GG was a suffocating one, they were pushed into all towers from minute5 onwards and couldnt do any of their stuff, if they pick accordingly they'll be just fine and won't lose again

To be fair with LD I can't remember which player (I think it was dexter when talking about lemondogs on his stream) mithy didn't actually impact their shotcalling that much. As much as it was getting rid of failer who was being completely toxic for the team again. I don't think alliance needs roster changes but that being said I'd forgive collective full retard if it wasn't for individually they're all still feeling incredibly eeeh which is more of a concern.

Roster changes after 3 games? :D Don't think they will change roster till Worlds. It will be ridiculous and Froggen knows it. [A] lost 3 games in rotations. They consistently outplaying opponents in laning phase, taking first objective and then suddenly fall like a card house. Only Tabzz and Nyph lost slightly against SHC in early phase.
Mithy changed LD in general. He was basically playing coach, no less. Taking team from 6-8 to 18-10, 2nd place in split and 3-5 at Worlds is brilliant.

It doesn't, listening to Thorin gave me the distinct impression that he never saw KMT or CW play before this week and his whole argument for placing Alliance and Millenium in top 4 was based on that. That doesn't mean the conclusion is necessarily wrong, just the way it was reached. You might as well cite the opinions of 2 regulars from this thread and they would probably be more aware of what they're talking about.

He is just doing interviews, where players are usually reminiscing about stuff that happened 2 seasons ago.

The burns, Poor Alliance :p

I´m with Thorin on this. I dont think Froggen is overrated he just has to adapt and stop playing this ultra safe farm style. I think Tabz and Nyph gonna improve. Heck they played like 1 week together ? Wickd looked actually strong in lane. It was just the builds that didnt work for tfs.
