I absolutely abhor playing against Singeds, but watching a Singed in a game just running through taunts, charms, 4 people focusing him, and laughing as he tosses the back line into his team is disgustingly satisfying.

I wonder what will happen to Looper if Singed is banned though. Singed is Looper's most played champion followed by Kennen, Zac, and Ryze. Doubt we'll see him on Ryze, but I guess anything is possible.

Mancloud was doing pretty well, but he simply just missed too many charms so Vulcun just couldn't carry their early lead to victory. You simply cannot go to the lategame against a Singed Ryze

Actually EU and NA performing much better against KR/CN teams than people predicted (ignoring TSM showing against OMG). Vulcun's showing just now and LD's showing against SKT were much more impressive than fans or "analysts" had been predicting all year.

But yeah, KR > CN > rest of the world.

Uh. OMG thoroughly stomped skt t1.

TSM had some good plays against OMG but after seeing the SKT1 game I think it was more OMG not really caring as much.

that's basically how it goes every time. If a na team is good enough it's a coin flip who will be ahead early, but once the koreans hit the midgame the constant little/not so little mistakes from na just snowball it every time. they just mess up too much to ever maintain momentum, then people act like it was amazing that they get 2-3 kills and a dragon early when that never, ever, ever leads into any real game closing plays.

Ozone also had an obvious delayed power spike with Singed and Ryze needing to hit critical mass before they can do much. I don't think Vulcan was ever all that ahead. That they were ahead for a bit is progress of a sort I suppose... #2 spot is possible.

I am wondering what the Korean commentators are saying about the strength of foreign teams. Since SKT T1 lost one game, had early game problems like ozone too

It's definitely true that Vulcun didn't do enough with the kills they got. I recall a point in midgame where Vulcun were up 9-5 in kills but down 4-1 in towers.
Zero fighting.

They could've gotten more ahead if they play it well, and that's the point.

If Mancloud had hit a few more of his charms on Dade and converted them to kills things might have looked a little different. Also Vulcun looked pretty flustered once they fell behind. I really think that it showed nerves getting to them once things stopped going 100% according to plan. They really need more experience playing in front of audiences and it shows (which is not to say that Ozone isn't a better team because they are).

Trading 5 champions for 1 while being low isn't "making team fights close". That's called good management. It's ridiculous how badly they outplayed vulcan in teamfights.
