Of course "we" are going to get crushed, but wtf is your issue with this game? My issue is that EG can not properly finish a game with 2 baron buffs better late game champions and enhibs down. Can i borrow those pink sunglasses ? Because it is kinda difficult to dive against Lissandra, as EG has proven twice. And losing an inhibitor kinda prolongs things. Still the way EG played it the outcome was inevitable.

History has proven european teams can come of nowhere and compete with asians

I'm not really impressed at the decision making of EU. EG diving the tower the first time was highly questionable without any real engage, hiding in bushes in hopes of a catch (without a oracles wtf?), some poor team fighting (Soaz targeting a fed TF with no MR and getting blown up,). IMO EU and NA are looking quite even which makes me so confused at that people that hype that EU will somehow crush NA and have a chance at the Asian teams.

Myth demands Gambit to go "Serious Mode" now, doesn't it? Since it's so close to the end of the season, and getting top 2 would be a huge benefit.

I don't think EG or fnatic are going to world. Lemondogs/Atn/Gambit or NIP imo. I'd be very surprised if Fnatic didn't make worlds. Fnatic, Gambit and one out of EG/NiP/Lemondogs/Alternate - remember the BoX format suits the older teams way better, both preparation and coping with high pressure situations are completely different for the playoffs.
Also, I hope we'll send some experienced teams to worlds. Alternate, NiP and Lemondogs for EU, and we're out after groupstages 100%

If history mattered at all maybe the older teams wouldn't be doing so incredibly poor.
People had been saying korea was amazing before all-stars too. At least the majority agrees after that exposure but it's not going to get any better really.

Damn. This game sounded really good.
Poor Fnatic. I like the double smite Lee Sin + Nunu idea, but the baron/dragons fell mostly in EGs favor. Strategy sort of built around buff control but I guess they didn't execute well. Did they have control over most buffs? If Froggen was playing Anivia it might be a cool build to use.

That is true, but we have to remember that they did very very well before they went deep, just not for the big public to see. right now no team is stable enough to keep winning, people keep losing or drawing games out because the lack of confidence. Something you can't do vs asians.

what the hell is wrong with EU LCS's schedule, it's always so inconsistant. Here I am ready to watch some games, only to find out that it already started 2 hours ago.

time for the next round of hit or miss with gambit gaming

Even tpa were practicing with koreans a month before worlds but everyone thinks they just randomly decided to win worlds .
Gambit just don't practice enough during lcs I feel.It was the same last season. For playoffs they will play a lot better 100%.

Something you can't do vs asians. It's still better to have 7 teams that are very close to each other then a one team that crushes everyone. The more competitions in a region then there will be more practice between the teams to become a better in overall skill level. And the offmeta from koreans isnt just bad because you dont want a stall meta like what is happening in NA that everybody is now watching how C9 is playing the game.
(ps: Why are all these Dutch guys on LoL forums so fucking pessimistic)

It is because it's the end of the weekend and we have alot of games. If they start at 6pm they will run way past midnight. Some nerds need there sleep.

Imo the tower dive was not a bad decision, just badly executed with split focus etc. Even though it was played so badly, it was still pretty close fight and the tower went down, which ultimately allowed EG to win the game.
Regarding EU/NA, the low level NA games were much more full of throws and stupid decisons than the low level EU games. Well low level teams barely exist in EU because the teams are so even. So the average EU team should be better. At the top (read C9) NA and EU might be even or C9 might even be better. Also people have this opinion simply because of results when EU/NA teams met. Unfortunately now we dont get any more cross region games so it is almost impossible to say if NA has caught up now.
