I thought that Giants! had pretty good map movement and warding too, when they pressured inner top, and the good call to drop the drake to get 2 towers. Getting more towers early eases a lot of the work when latter on Shen can splitpush while Ahri and Varus have strong wave clearing. On the contrary, I found that EG did pretty well to pressure top as a team to deny Giants! pushing. They failed to capitalise or take the tower though (I guess you have to blame Krepo for getting harassed so hard), but it stopped Giants! cross-map pushes.

Leona/Varus got bullied in lane by Zyra and Kennen (who played a great game to be fair). The latter two champions are by far the most common picks from Giants. If you truly want to be a professional you MUST prepare for games like this, otherwise the joke is on you. Maybe I'm harsh on them, but frankly the lackluster way EG prepares for their games has been bugging me all season. Obviously you cannot predict every pick and ban, but you can plan ahead to some extent. If you don't have a solid plan to deal with someones signature champion than maybe you should ban him out. They didn't and they lost, so now they get mocked for it. I agree with what you're saying (in terms of "this is their job they need to be better prepared", but I still think it's kind of unfair. If I remember correctly, that failed blue steal really hurt Leona/Varus, they had to deal with a Kennen with 3 assists and a Zyra with at least one kill and red buff - which gives that lane a huge starting advantage. You can prepare for a lane, but starting with a disadvantage like that is pretty hard to deal with at a professional level no matter how much preparation you put into it. Krepo did get first blood though, so maybe some of this is on him not using that advantage to help keep the lane even. I still don't get why they didn't just ban Kennen though.

The second thing i don't understand is, why did they swap lanes in the mid game. Wickd just lost the 2nd tower top without anything he could do against it. I would have stayed with Krepo and Pete top, maybe they would be 20-30 cs behind, but they wouldn't lost their tower so fast. Well, WP by Giants.

Obviously to get dragon. 2 man bot, + shen ult from top. So potentially 5v3.

I can not remember a game, in which he carried hard with Kha. So why don't ban out kennen instat of Kha? The second thing i don't understand is, why did they swap lanes in the mid game. Actually that laneswap mid game was an attempt by EG to take dragon but they were stopped by that ward that they couldn't clear because their pink ward couldn't see it. But even with that ward EG could have taken the dragon, guess they didn't want to risk losing the smite war.
