Of course we don't know exactly why CLG are running the comps they are, with jiji on the hero he is. What I can say is that CLG has been playing with a lot of late game centric, split pushing, disengage based comps. Technical comps that Anivia's massive CC, wave clearing, disengage/engage, and late game utility are pretty much unrivaled in. There hasn't been any anivia changes,you'd think this realization would've came much earlier, but all of a sudden clg revives anivia in their game comp.
Part of it is just whether or not the players have practiced the champions. Jiji, Doublelift and HSGG are sometimes reminded by SV to practice more champs. Jiji with Gragas, Doublelift with Graves and HSGG with Riven. If Jiji just recently started using Annivia more it's because he practiced her.

CLG has known. Everybody has known. This isn't some massive shift. This is you downplaying how much jiji has played Anivia in the past and overstating how much/how crucial he is to them now.

And everyone told me I was crazy when I said she did too much damage. When I running her as a support bot lane I just use all her spells offensively, zone both enemy champs with just lulu. It impossible for your carry to not get farmed unless they can't lasthit at all.

I think it's smart for TSM to keep forcing these team fights.
With Karthus ult and Nocturne ult, curse have too much global pressure to farm individual lanes without risking death.

You can see how much the addition of a coach has helped TSM/CLG. TOO is farming well all the sudden, Regi making smart choices...
CLG never looks disorganized and their warding/counterwarding has gotten so much better.
