Does anyone know why Curse has SYDTKO instead of Pobelter for solo top? Curse put on a pretty good showing against CLG in scrims yesterday and Pobelter was really solid.

NVM: It is Pobelter but thread says SYDTKO. Oh but they have SYDTKO instead of Nyjacky.

Okay, so I asked in GD since I didn't see that this thread was up - what the fuck was Rain Man doing? Tabi Nullmagic Vamp Rubyx2 vs Rumble when you're down 5 kills?

Imagine if in professional play the player could actually have 100% information. Doublelift might even be able to impress us with his knowledge.

what else could he have done?

he couldn't farm because maokai/rumble would engage on him every 2 minutes.

The thing is when TRM and Oddone gave up a double kill top lane in the first big exchange of the game they knew Maokai was there. Chauster even mentions that they have all the information they need not to make the engage but they still do it.

How did he get there, I mean? From what you said, Ninja Tabi seem like a terrible choice as well - against 2 almost pure magic damage targets, you definitely don't need autoattack reduction.

he got heal baited, and rumble got first blood + assist early on. Then it would've been GG whenever GP pushed up because rumble would just chase him down and kill him. However, they sought to counter this by having Lee sin gank when rumble goes rambo on him. Unfortunately this just screwed Rain Man completely since rumble double killed.

Probably something along the lines of. He starts with cloth + 5. Gets scared of rumble + ganks and wants to be fast. Tabi are the cheapest T2 boots for him from here. Gets back to lane and gets bullied out. Oh shit I really need sustain so I'll get vamp scepter. Goes back to lane and gets bursted to death. Oh shit I really need some buffer health and MR better buy Null magic and two crystals.

Man, that seems like a terrible set of decisions, especially for such a high level player. I can't think of any reason why I would start cloth+5 against a magic laner + magic jungler combo..

It is a terrible set of decisions even his skill order is wrong. He was behind several kills with a maokai jungle and maxed his E first like really Rainman?

TSM has said before that TRM makes a lot of the calls for top lane because none of them play top lane. Regi is almost exclusively AP mid, Xpecial does APs and supports, OddOne is almost exclusively jungle, and Chaox mostly plays AD carries so they're reliant on TRM for top lane match ups.

What people should realize is that solo queue and competitive play are two entirely different things. Rain Man knows what the fuck he's doing, do not question the GP vs Rumble pick. It was just huge misplay on him and OddOnes part in the beginning, not so much the pick really. Had rumble not snowballed, it would be highly unlikely Rain Man would die, maybe lose his tower yes, but not feed 0-6.

The thing is, a top lane with teleport is better than a top lane without teleport for the team, and furthermore, GP has a global ult.

So assuming GP doesn't feed, (Which he shouldn't in competitive play) and just tails behind rumble in CS, ultimately he'll be more useful globally.

In soloqueue, if you lose lane as GP vs Rumble you're fucked, because it's not like your team can coordinate well with a teleport and a global ulti.

Just my 2cents

lol TSM
if you want to win the teamfight just make sure not to land a perfect zigg's ulti. whiff it and win.

take a shot whenever chauster says "I feel like.."

This game is so random.

Nope he doesn't even die and TSM gets like 2 kills.

GG.
TSM wins.
Final fight took way too long and minions kill nexus turrets.
Then pobelter initiation fail and dies.

With an inhib down a team can just go fight you at baron. You stand around it, and then super minions push their base and can kill towers. Also with an inhib down the rest of the waves get stronger also, so all the lanes push. Getting an inhib usually gets you a baron for free, getting baron doesn't always get you an inhib for free.

but at the same time, choose inhib -> maybe lose baron to enemy team. Choose baron -> probably not going to lose your own inhib.
