I think so. saint did eh/ok yesterday. OddOne did on par job on Day 1. This game, Noc felt like he contributed a lot.

81 champions only 6 bans. doesn't seem right.

Yeah these huge crowds make me so happy. LoL has grown so much. And seeing CLG do so well makes me happy too seeing as they've made it this far all on their own. No outside manager, they weren't thrown together to try to capitalize on LoL's success... They were a team when the esports scene for LoL was pathetic and they helped it grow so it's good to see them be successful. :D I'm not sure how old school the Euro teams are but I'm glad CLG's doing so well.
As for that game... Millenium really needs to step up their picks. They should get an aggressive jungler (not amumu) and a STRONG top laner (udyr) and shut down hotshot.

That's not true... not all the NA teams think Amumu is weak. CLG likes Amumu, just that saint doesn't play him.

Eh he was like 30 cs behind and couldn't kill Jax even with Amumu ganks.
brand was further behind mid, 40-50 cs down to anivia
the anivia just straight up threw it getting caught lol

The reason for the difference of opinion is quite clear--European junglers are super-defensive and are not experienced counterjunglers. Almost all the EU v EU matches we've seen involve extremely passive jungling. Amumu outscales pretty much any other jungler in the game if he gets to afk-farm undisrupted. But he also gets punished super hard if he loses control of his own jungle.

that's not what I saw at all, zilean was way behind on cs and he kept bleeding xp because his waves got pushed into the tower while he was away

Yeah being down 30 cs letting jax free farm and get both top towers and a 22 min gunblade with 3 dorans and being down 2 levels is doing good huh?
Zilean had to b every 2 or 3 waves.

are you guys watching the same game as me? zilean went bot to push and get dragon. he just didnt "let him" get the tower. Also brand lost his lane to anviia by more cs then zilean lost to jax.

Yeah but letting a jax get almost as much farm as a blue buff anivia loses you the game.
Anivia always should have the most cs.

let's draw a distinction between
a) claiming zilean's lane failing actually is what lost them the game (no way, it was the double suicide)
vs
b) claiming zilean failed his lane
I don't think jax actually had much of an impact that game, could have been any tanky dps and he didn't have to win his lane for the game to turn out exactly as it did
|
c) Zilean failed to disrupt Jax's farming
you gotta stop jax from free farming, you just have to. He scales far too well.

Honestly Irelia would be a really good pick for these European teams... Pick Irelia dammit. Isn't one of these guys known for his Irelia or something?

The failure was in the pick, jax beats zil to hard didn't have enough damage to complete a gank with amumu or even force a back, and jax is sooo much better with farm.

pretty much this. jax did not even come close to winning them the game, anivia getting caught twice in a row lost it.

didn't matter really
It might have lost them the game without the double suicide... but jax freefarm is not at all what lost them the game the way things actually played out because they just threw it away for free, we'll never know
