Anyone tried exclusively maining one role in solo q (ofc playing a couple champs in other roles) and then switching to just a "fill" player? Was there a increase in ranking? Was it more fun and less stressful?

1. Yes
2. Over time it "stablized" it more

My AD play was a ton better than my other roles and later spread out. I definitely prefer maining 1 role for like ranked 5s or something, but for yolo Q in the end i don't think it matters a ton.

I'm mostly a "fill" player, and my experience is limited, but so far I experimented very little of the toxicity described in the shikyo memorial. Dunno if I'm lucky or playing the diplomat in champion select gets people in the right mindset, but here's my 2 cents.

I don't care which role to play if I don't care about winning.
The reality is, my ADC sucks and (on my smurf) I can't really play top/support either. So I always insist on mid or jungle if I want to win.

I tried the whole fill thing for a bit, but don't enjoy it much. I usually end up ADC at least 60% of the time, and it's my least fave role, so...

I usually just "top or jungle pref" and get one of the two when i play
being nice will most of the time get you your desired role

I play jungle and support, and I'm pretty bad at anything else that isn't Garen or OP.

getting bored of playing the same shit happens when you cease to look for new things to try and mistakes that you made so you have something to work toward
theres very good reasons why people who stick to1 champ average much higher skill level
