Unless jungling (which isn't optimal anyway for Irelia), I don't like wriggles on Irelia. The added damage and armor are negligible for how much they cost. I'd rather build the vamp scepter into a bloodthirster or starks. If I want armor, I'd rather get a glacial shroud => frozen heart.

IMO, the way to play Irelia is:
0/21/9
ArPen/Dodge/MRes/HPp5
Ghost/Ignite
Dshield -> boots -> Sheen -> Vamp Scepter -> Triforce -> Merc Treads -> Tank the fuck out
Wriggles sucks IMO, but that vamp scepter gives you so much lanestaying power with your sheen powered Qs. Super late in the game you can make it a Starks, but I just leave it as a vamp scepter for the whole game 99% of the time.

Like whenever I choose a meele AD carry, I have people go hurp we need a ranged AD carry. So then you get stuck with a melee AD carry, ranged AD carry, and AP carry. Then you have to either stick the melee dps (like xin) bot or the AP carry bot, which is retarded and just not optimal in both cases.

Irelia dumps on most Melee Carries too though. Pretty much only Olaf is harder to deal with than Irelia.

just got a 17 minute triforce on irelia with only 1 kill
thank god my bot lane went 0-12 to compensate so we had no chance of winning
i would have hated to actually do something with that

I'm so confused, lol. Irelia is crazy good vs. tanky teams. She has sustained True damage... lol, she's fucking crazy good vs. tank teams and I think she has the best sustainability of any Melee Carry other than Olaf.

Renekton matches up well against Irelia too because he can put out damage faster than she can heal it back while keeping himself fairly well healed with his Q.

Too lazy to read through all of this so sorry if this has been asked before. Just uninstalled and reinstalled client to see if it would fix one problem I was having but didn't.
