Same with Elementz. If you need one of them to go to the solo lane all the time, CLG's picks are really limited. (Assuming Chauster and jiji swap off for an AP/AD carry.) But yes, I do think CLG needs a dedicated support player. Epik picked up puregoldenboy because Doublelift acted like a douche, so that's one choice gone. I've seen Hotshot's Janna and it's not pretty. I've also never seen Elementz be able to play any support besides Sona. I think in general, their team comps are decent. | ||

If they want to become a more serious team, they need to have a serious player dedicated to playing support with great map awareness (and probably duo queue w/ Chauster and practice playing support). In all 3 games against TSM today, I felt like Xpecial/Chaox outfarmed and outplayed Chauster/Elementz. I was looking at the EU support players and they take supporting extremely seriously (US server down so I just made an EU acc). They all have like 4-5 runepages for their support champs, which is like "wut?". | ||

I'm just saying that if EU meta ever comes to US there won't be much of a place for him on TSM. They already have their jungler, if they wanted to do the EU style of double AP carry then Rainman would have to get the boot. As you said though, the team comps for SoloMid work for them right now and there's no indication of the US meta changing anytime soon. Still, I think it'd be in the best interest of Rainman and HotshotGG to work on getting good at other champs. Both of them would be super easy to ban out. If CLG just let Regi get whatever champ he wants and ban out Rainman TSM would basically be playing a 4v5. That's kind of what happened to CLG when Solomid banned Cho/Nid. I agree. Xpecial/Chaox definitely outplayed Chauster/Elementz and I don't think it's because Xpecial is a great support player (because he isn't) and I don't think that Chaox is better than Chauster (or at least, even if he is, not by much). If Elementz wants to stay on CLG I think they need to tell him to go play support for awhile. If he doesn't want to they need to drop him. | ||
