CLG actually practiced a lot before DreamHack. As in, they were scrimming EU teams every other day or so. Probably not as much as real teams but they still scrimmed quite a bit. The problem with them getting practice is that none of the US teams want to scrim with them. For reasons varying from not wanting CLG to be good again and also because of how CLG refused to scrim with anyone when they were on top for so long (out of fear of people figuring out how to "beat CLG"). I really don't know what goes on with them at tourneys though. They run the craziest and sometimes dumbest shit. Maybe they just don't care or maybe they honestly think the decisions they're making are sound and good. At this point in the game they make a fuck ton of money from coaching, streaming, and the various tournies they win without having to devote as much time as any of the other teams so it wouldn't surprise me if they're fine with how they are right now. | ||

I don't think it's that they're not that good every time, it's more like that without Hotshot on his main two they're just not good enough to win games because he goes from better than everyone on TSM to below average tourney play. If he got Nidalee/Cho'Gath every time I don't think there's a team that can beat CLG. Edit: Though the one promising thing for CLG right now is that they seem to have better chemistry past few days. Saint's actually getting along with Hotshot and not just outright trolling him. They just need to find some way to make him grind up a third champ. | ||
