EDIT: Leoric was a poor choice I think. Solo Leoric is not going to be what it was.

+ Show Spoiler + Didn't see Murlocs as even a finalist, much less winning coming in.

It feels more like an amateur scene than an actual pro scene. GFE is probably the most consistent team of them all, but they are still not at the level of the top EU teams.

I think if they tightened that up, they'd be a lot stronger. Either way, Korea is far above everyone else right now. And it's not just Black like it used to be, there's 3-4 Korean teams that are far superior.

I think they lost the series to GFE, because of terrible misplays, like Kenma's trademark being out of position and feeding or absolutely awful meta+ancestral combo cast by/on Illidan at the same time TWICE in the same game. NVT are good when they can play their game with aggressive rotations with hard CC comps, but execution-wise they really don't shine much brighter than the rest of NA imho.

Agreed, though I don't know that any of the EU teams are going to compete with the Korean or Chinese teams any better than they have in the last year.

Yea, as good as Fan is, I don't think they're suited to 1st pick Illidan comps - it was too easy for GFE to out draft them. Especially since they ended up with Kenma on Brightwing with an Illidan at one point. Which Khroen just ate alive with Tracer.

Even Next week L5 vs First family i expect to be a blow out. SO ...two weeks from now to get to the winners matches of the groups? Btw how many Blizzcon Spots are there, for KR. Have MVP and Tempo Already qualified for Blizzcon, from winning the seasonal World Championships? I would hope so.

Sadly for Korea, they arguably have 4 teams or more out of the top 6 in the world and just 2 spots. That's unfortunate. You'd think winning a Global Regional would automatically place you in Blizzcon. Or at least, you would get points awarded for such a high finish, you'd have to really do poorly in the next few tournaments, for someone to superseded your point average. Without having seen L5 play, was thinking it would be fun if the KR finals was a Post TNL grudge match. Between Mvp Miracle, and L5. Though even in that scenario, it would "feel" wrong to not have either Tempo, or MvP black there.

Edit: There should be a filtration system, where the South America and South East Asia tournaments act as qualifiers so that the finalists get a seed in the NA and EU regional respectively.
