did an albatross kill his wife? (not sure if it has been asked already) did he know that he ate parts of hiswife a)before b)after he had tasted the soup? did his wife die a)recently? b)months-years ago? did he kill his wife? did that "someone else" kill her? did that "someone else" have anything to do with albatrosses or that special albatross that was involved in his wife's death? was that "someone else" a a)relative b)friend c)stranger of/to the man is the man wearing anything weird? is he extraordinarilly fat/thin/small/big? did his wife leave him for someone else? | ||

he was on an island. he ate his wife on this island. for some reason he thought that he was eating albatross but he was really eating his wife. now he is eating albatross. but it tastes different than the other albatross did? so he realizes he ate his wife. now, what makes no sense to me is how he doesnt know he ate his wife. | ||

Probably someone else made the soup out of his wife and told him it was albatross soup. tho that would lead to the question how he knew that the soup he had eaten on that 'island' or whereever was made of his wife after realizing it wasn't albatross | ||
