Run this (.NET 2.0 required) and browse to VLC, click Install: http://www.teamliquid.net/staff/R1CH/VLCHandlerSetup.zip
And you will be able to click on mmsh:// links posted on TL to automatically open them in VLC. Note to people posting stream links, they must be inside a url tag as the parser now ignores smiley code when parsing URL tags.
Test (should just load VLC and give an error since it isn't a valid stream): mmsh://127.0.0.1:5555/

Don't know if it effects it, but I think the VLC version changed since then. The GUI did at least, but I don't use VLC much so I'm not too sure when it actually updated (might have been before RICH made the code).

i can open it, i click "browse", but browse to VCL? what do you mean by browse to VLC?
what it seems to want is an application on my computer. should i have this "VLC" already?
