sickening

Dede, now 35, baffled medical experts when warty "roots" began growing out of his arms and feet after he cut his knee in a teenage accident.

Damn man good luck to him. I hope he is cure, what a fuck up way to live.

Whenever someone is having a shitty day, maybe they can put things into perspective. At least they are not a Chernobyl victim, half tree half man or kid who parents sold him to child prostitution right?
Keep it simple stupid.

Holy fuck, my heart sank to my feet when I saw the picture of the guy's arms, holy fuck. This is worse than 2girls1cup. Holy fuck.

I just alt tabbed to the window again, holy fuck, I can't stop thinking just "holy fuck" and having that sinking feeling. Jesus christ. OMG.

Thank god the gay/blind thing cheered me up. I wish I could read about the cure without seeing his arms. Holy fuck. I'm like exalted and the spider.

I could physically relate to the tree guy more because it is easier to imagine skin that is like bark and hands that can't move than it is to imagine having extra legs or a single eye in the middle of your head or something. Seriously, holy fuck.

SO basically, it's just regular ol' HPV, gone wildly unchecked?

I never knew simple wart virus had such ambition and potential!

I heard that his wife had to leave him because her interests branched out into other areas, while he was deeply rooted on the basic principles. That kind of division can sew the seeds for a divorce in any couple. I imagine it'd also be a big thorn in her side to have to deal with him, the way he is. However, I like him because he seems like a very down-to-earth kind of guy. And to people who are doubting the potential of HPV, it's not a dog whose bark is worse than its bite. It is hard to imagine that the whole problem stems from a childhood accident, though. Let's all root for him to get better!

- they don't really know what exactly was has yet.. a lot of those lesions don't even look like a wart should look - just a massive eccess of keratin..

- it will be a good story to follow and see how he responds to hpv infection treatments - I wonder if systemic interferon-alfa wouldn't be a better idea instead of the vitamin A they mentioned (I suspect they really meant to say isotretinoin not vitamin A)

- odd that the local docs didn't give it a try, or even biopsy it or test it - I guess they weren't kidding about him living in a "remote" part of Indonesia because they do have decent hospitals and docs, all he really he had to do is show up at one, most docs will see and take care of interesting cases for free anyway.

Hm, there isn't really anything to do with trees here, just a crazy skin disease.

A while back I read about a girl who was pricked by a cactus and began growing thorns from her skin. I found a link:

His skin may look disgusting, but as the doctor says, its bark is worse than his bite.

Anyone else have this itchy feeling all over their body now?
I always have this when I'm grossed out by pictures of deformed bodyparts like these ><
Same when I saw some pic of a womans boob that was eaten out by larvae. That was fucking gross even though obviously fake :/
