It's a good cross examination that's definitely drawing blood. However, you can't get caught up with any one witness in a case. When presenting a case at trial, attorneys have to think about each fact that they get into evidence as being a "penny in the cup." It's very rare that what happens with one witness is outcome dispositive. If this were a normal case rather than the shit show for the prosecution that it has been, this examination of Bao may not matter at all in terms of whether the jury decides to convict the defendant. | ||
