In addition, Team Liquid had both a physical presence at the event, and a spiritual one through our online interaction with and donations to the marathon. This event was obviously the most successful one to date but I also think it was the highest quality. Even though I saw most of the runs live I can't wait for the feature length highlight and blooper reels to come around. Not many huge corporations can claim to have helped in over a quarter million total in donations (all marathons cumulative) to cancer research, much less just few sick talented people in one room. Event: Awesome Games Done Quick 2012 Donation Total: $145,273.50 (5771) Max/Avg Donation: $3,500.00/$25.17 Final tracker, still a week of bonus streaming from people who will still be in DC before flights which might push that up to 150k but still freaking amazing. Just so people know, there will be a Summer Games Done Quick most likely, and they are looking into a possible European Marathon as well so keep your eyes open we'll keep you posted when another marathon pops up. | ||

I'm as excited for these events as I am for any major starcraft 2 tournament (This is my first event). Hopefully there'll be a SC2 or SC1 campaign speedrun in the summer! | ||
