seriously tho this means pretty much nothing. united lost 0-3 against york in 95 in the FA cup but still won the premier league.

eh i don't think united spent 200+ million that season though, that's what makes it funny to me at least. granted ronaldo and kaka didn't play but still a team with those kinda finances should have a squad that easily roflstomps a 3rd division team.

well it is hilarious that they lose 0-4 against a shitty third division team
it's mindblowingly shocking, one of the biggest upsets I have ever heard of in almost 20 years of following football. it ranks up there with greece winning the entire european championship in terms of major surprises I have ever seen.

but it doesnt mean anything for their future performance this season, other than for this particular cup. they're still title contenders for la liga (although barcelona are favourites, but they were favourites before this match too) and they might still end up in whatever high spot in champions league.
