Denmark won 1-0 vs Sweden, advancing in 1st place of the group to the World Cup Portugal took advantage of that situation and surpassed Sweden for the 2nd place in the Group. Now Portugal have 16 points and Sweden 15 points with one game left to play. Portugal will play Malta in the Last game and sweden will play Albania. in the South American Boards the Drama Continues, Ecuador lost 2-1 to Uruguay and Argentina won 2-1 vs Peru. Equador dropped from 4th to 6th. Now the classification is as follows, 4th 5th and 6th: Argentina 25 Uruguay 24 Ecuador 23 The 4th goes Directly to the World Cup, 5th get to play the playoff against the 4th Place of the north and central america confederation. The last matches will be Argentina - Uruguay , and Ecuador - Chile. BTW, Yesterday a hero was reborn in the Argentina - Peru game. .I wish we could also play vs bananaislands etc like USA, so we would qualifie everytime... Twice draw against Germany, both times really disapointed result . Tells something about the games... | ||

so is mexico then either costa rica or honduras gets a spot and their fourth team has to fight vs #5 from south america I think it's a very good thing that the world cup features some definite underdogs.. imagine if north america only had 2 spots, you'd essentially have a useless qualification because it would always be clear that usa and mexico would get them. north korea qualifying is absolutely awesome imo, not that I remember 56 or whatever but from what I've read, it was pretty epic.  | ||

Usa or Mexico wouldnt get in WC from our group or any else from euro, except swtzerland/greece group maybe. | ||

we have the european championship every fourth year as well, and that one is, unlike every other regional national tournament, absolutely huge.. | ||
