i think left back is the only real defeciency but arbeloa actually made a very solid performance in there too | ||

I don't remember who told me this but I thought it was pretty funny that an ex RM manager wanted to buy Pepe for a mere 3M$ but the RM directors didn't think Pepe was galactico enough to sell shirts then a few years later they pay 30M$ for him. | ||

Pellegrini always put Marcelo as left back except when he had enough fit defenders to give him a chance as winger. I guess his defensive skills arent as good as his offensive ones. But Marcelo himself favours left back more. Marcelo definitely reminds me of R.Carlos. | ||

 Maybe Mourinho gets Maicon for RM next season? I think Maicon is one of the best RB's both in going foward and defending he's so strong and beastly. | ||

About RM signing Rooney or another striker, I don't think so. One of Barça's pre - candidates (they have elections this summer) stated that he had Rooney and offered it to the club, but was rejected because of the Villa bid being almost done. So, maybe it's true that Rooney wants to go out. | ||
