there can only be 6 playoff spots. we are already at 10 teams so if we go any higher that will be 6 teams not making the playoffs which seems a bit high to me. what do you guys think? Here's who's signed up so far
*Intends to do $10 pool all you managers out there, what do you think about doing let's say an $8 buy in this year? post in this thread what you think. (btw i'm pretty sure mani is willing to hold the $) also when would you guys like to see the draft take place? what day & time? The cutoff is Sunday Sept 28 | ||

By roster expansion maybe do something like 3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, keep it at 4 D 2 util and 2 goalies. Same number of bench, maybe 1 extra bench, and IR spots too (2 IR spots do we usually have? Whatever it has been its usually been perfect). | ||

but if that's what you guys want to do then ok. we'll wait for a few more people to say what they'd prefer. two things for those who are interested in participating. first off, we're already full unless the other managers agree to increase the league size to 12. if we go to 12 you have a very low chance of making the playoffs, 6 teams will make it in and 6 teams will not. secondly, while we all find this fun, you have to realize this is a full 6 month commitment requiring full activity during the entire season! if you are not prepared to stay active the entire season then please don't join. | ||

As for expanding the league to 12 teams, i'm fine with that. But either we expand the league to 2 more teams, or we raise the minimum games played by a goalie to 4 from 3. I'm also fine with the draft timing =). EDIT: Let's not wait 10 more days if we have all 10 teams ready to draft though, so if we don't expand let's move up the draft date to this weekend. Or we could even find the 12 teams asap and still move the draft up to this weekend. | ||

)edit:regarding expansion and changes from last season: im fine with anyting you guys decide hm one thing i would ask for is if we can change the live draft time? it's like 4AM for me.. i didnt make it last year and i won't make it this year otherwise. it's not a big deal tho - if the time is good for most of the players i can pre-rank and skip it edit2: what about 01:00 - 08:00 tl.net/korean time? (18:00 - 01:00 CET) any day (maybe not late on a friday/saturday o.o) response? | ||

we're almost surely going to go ahead with the $10 pool, so if you haven't already please make sure you have 10 in your paypal account ready to go. once i talk to mani, (presuming he approves) we will all send our $10 to his paypal to hold. also regarding draft times, depending on whether mani wants to try and make the draft, some of you may have to sacrifice a bit of your early saturday evening in order to help mani participate. have to talk to him about that before we make any decisions though | ||

update: apparently mani might not be able to participate this year. we might still be able to hold the pool if another staff member is willing to hold the dough though. | ||

Also, I think it is only fair that everyone pays or no one. I dont want there to be a conflict with some non payment members knocking out paying ones etc. Lastly Ill probably just autodraft since I am usually the odd one out timezone wise. It doesnt bother me. | ||
