It's kind of my reaction to SC2. Except they could do a lot of fine tuning and redesign the game with esports in mind from the very start.

And about "only 5 classes", Diablo 2 also only had 5 classes until the expansion. It's actually a "worry" I have about SC2- SC2 starts with the same number of units as SC, so what will be added in the expansion? I'm sure they'll add more units, but it just seems like a slight worry for me.
Also, although I know WoW isn't held in great esteem here, it's undeniable that it's the greatest, most in-depth MMORPG ever made, especially if you look at the quality of the world/raids (sorry if my terminology sucks, I don't play myself). If Blizzard can create a hack and slash game with the same depth, it will be absolutely amazing. I can't wait for D3.

I agree with the people saying it looks too cartoonish right now, I always regarded Diablo as the more mature game series and being the most non-cartoonish game line, but with this new game it looks like just another .. non-diablo hack'n'slash. :/
Hopefully they'll tweak it a bit.

The gameplay is tight! Has exactly the right atomsphere.

I hope pvp is as good in d3 as it was in d2...

Wow! That thing is looking soo good =D! I'm really sad to say it but I'm more excited for D3 then SC2 !! If only they turned down the saturation and brightness it would look even better. Another thing that bothers me is the size of that big boss that ate the barbarian, I just think it's too big. It looks so WoW'esque also, not that it's a bad thing...

I don't see where all of you guys are seeing these "WoW" graphics. The game looks very dark and visceral, I'm very excited. This is exactly what I was expecting D3 to be like and I am glad.
Lol this looks NOTHING like WoW.

i just wanna see cinematics of tyrael being a BAMF

Generally the in-house enviroment (aka the dungeons) + the map in the right top corner remind me most of WoW.

I dislike the red orbs. :|

They all did their own art, and when Blizzard was forced by Vivendi to make all Blizzard North employees move to the offices in California a lot of them left because they didn't want to move, many artists included.
The ones who were left went on to make hellgate which was complete and utter trite.
I guess it separated the wheat from the chaff.
It looks like its going to deliver exactly what I want from a Diablo sequal. More of the same but better. Anyone complaining its hard to tell what is going on go back an play diablo and watch all the chaos.
The rag dolls are actually amazing.

Yeah, I thought it looked very nice. It just seems like this will require a real lot of juice to play :x

Diablo as an esport? iirc they used to have some limited Diablo on OGN; ie theyd give 2 clans with like 4/5 people each one hour to level up and get as many items as they could then they'd pvp they were pretty fucking mad too o.O getting to like 45~ in that short time So it's like some crazy iron man tourney. A lot of people have things like this, except you get like 15 minutes and some characters are restricted etc.
Iron man matches were always fun =p

Oh noes, what HGL and Mythos do

Wow I can't wait to play this game... Seriously, the Diablo formula is tried and true, and they're going to improve on almost everything... Especially, I'm looking forward to anti-cheating and anti-hack protection, especially since they have more experience with WoW right now...
And, the graphics are really nice, IMO... They're pretty fucking brutal and bloody, the way I like it and the way Diablo should be...
Everything is looking really nice... I wonder when they're going to release it though ><... 1 year? 2 years?
