Someone needs to perform an exorcism on this thread, it would be quite nice having a HoN thread where people discuss strategy, developments, competative play and all the other wondrous bullshit related to HoN without having to wade thought the brain hemorrhaging cesspit of "u mad, fag, queer, ze, how mad?, ze, ze, ze" etc. to try and find the smallest scrap of an interesting post.

You do know that all of the things you listed isn't that hard or complicated right? You can only talk so much before shit gets old. Discussing those things turns into worthless shit 90% of the time because team work isn't something you just post and discuss. Like the wards example testie gave about his team, knowing when and where to ward for your team is vastly different than warding for random pubbies.

Discussing shit for said individuals is pointless and it really doesn't matter until it gets in game. You can talk till your head explodes but it means shit when you can't do it in the game or you come to realization that what you discussed is stupidly elementary that you feel fucking stupid for not realizing it earlier.

Who knows, maybe I am that disillusioned from the cesspool that was DA.com and the shitfest that is PD.com. And judging from top players that play both DotA and HoN or switched from DotA to HoN, HoN's no different. Loda said it best, a bunch of mediocre players with shitty decision making abilities is the same in HoN as its in DotA.

Unless you really enjoy X hero with Y items for Z team bullshit that people love spewing out.

I'll even give you a classic pubbie example, pre-nerf Viper, every kiddie on PD.com was crying about it, the standard "nerf orbs, op" shit. Kiddies with no lane understanding and always running from a Viper that orbs them. Telling them how to play a lane against Viper is the same as telling them to play a lane against any other hero, orb or no orb, solo or non-solo.
