So many clutch matches. I really really loved watching USF4, and this was the first tournament in SFV that got me nearly as hyped. Also, I can't believe they had Logan and F-Word cast the top 8. They're by far my favorite casters, and I just assumed we'd have UltraChen. <3 so many feels | ||

I was hoping for some more drastic changes to the core game but maybe this is enough. I main Cammy and i feel that, relative to everything else that happened, I just got buffed pretty hard. I play on keyboard and I'm not sure if they changed charge inputs, keyboard inputs or if I'm seeing things but it sure feels off now. any ideas? knee press just won't come out the way it used to be | ||

Apparently it's the shortest buffer for charge moves in the SF series lol. | ||

So what is your experience of which dpad is the best? I have heard the ps4 controller dpad is quite good which is opposite of what i felt.. Hm. So tricky. Thinking of checking out the wii u controller pro for pc. I just want a good dpad for fighting games. But i guess it has some variation, for example i used a ps3 controller and the dpad worked quite good actually and then it broke so i bought a new ps3 controller and the dpad worked terrible. I guess this variation occur quite often perhaps... Lots of review recommend the dpad on the ps4 controller. | ||

The Hori fight commanders I thought had really nice pads but they all wear out. So if you dont mind maybe rebuying it when it starts stinking you could try those. In the end Dpads really are just little pieces of rubber junk, so they tend to break or feel different from one controller to another. | ||

V-trigger (HP+HK) you can use when V-gauge is full and it puts you into a different state that various from character to character. Some characters just get stronger in certain ways, other have their skills altered, etc. It's activation is also used as a combo extender or to help with anti air reaction since it essentially stops time where you can input moves. V-skill (MP+MK) is a move that is unique to each character. They are basically just interesting abilities that also build V-gauge. V reversal (Forward and all 3 Ks or Ps depending on character) uses one bar of V-gauge and can counter any enemy attack you block. It basically pushes the enemy away if you are really feeling the pressure or just want people off you. It also reduces your stun bar. | ||

I unfortunately wasn't there to get a chance to get bodied by him (I did meet him a few months ago in Manila Cup though so not all that bad) Some of the matches were streamed. Some SF5 sets and some MvC2 sets. If anyone wants I can post the VODs when I find them later. From what I hear from the local players who did attend, his Akuma is sick. | ||
