Redbull/CPT NA finals was a truly great event. Some of the best games we've seen and storylines you couldn't make up. Highlight all of that with an Akuma teaser and I'm dead. Let's hope Capcom learned from 2016 for a strong 2017.

Damn, congrats to Du again. I see Akuma(Shin Akuma) got teased too.. I wonder what tools they'll take away from him in this game. Also, shout outs to Capcom for letting you fight on an airplane wing flying through the city aka Rashid's stage.

Finally got SF5, really suck at this game. Was pretty good at SF3 and decent at USF4. Practicing with RYU who I actually dislike. Looking for someone to practice with over skype or other coms. Got some bad habits from SF3 like using LP SRK over MP SRK (which you like never used), trying to parry all the time with forward, trying to start combos with c.mk or cl.hp, and trying to do combos that don't exist in this game.

I think I need to pick up a different character. Was thinking Rashid, Laura, Mika, or Gief instead. I mained akuma in SF3 and Thawk in SF4.

I can complete all the trials and shit but can barely get to like 40% win rate in casual.

I play on KB and ps2 controller with some 3rd party programs and usb item. I need to fix my stick, but I don't know enough about electronics. (theres an issue with some short or something on the stick part, but the buttons work fine.) I've got a Multimeter and a soldering gun, just don't know how to troubleshoot.

As mikedebo pointed out, the fragmentation of the sites was certainly confusing and decreased the visibility of what's going on in other games, especially for someone who doesn't use much twitter/social media like me. But it seems TL uses only one handle and everything's covered there. Good to see NuckleDu get the coverage he deserves.

Yeah I'm glad I got some clarification there even though I had to be a whiner to get anyone to talk about it. I can deal with the blow to my internet persona if it gets du some more shootouts though lol. I didn't really understand how the different TL sites were related, I didn't even really know TLPro existed to be honest (with that name, I thought it was more like "paid members only content" or something, not a totally different focus.)

The article was great, I'm hoping we can get more of these and get EH to crosspost them or something. If they come out closer to the events, I could see related sites at least linking them in their own briefer summaries.
