I think putting this on ESPN was a mistake. Audio is bad. Commercials break up momentum of the fast paced fgc matches. Commentators are toned down. Can't hear crowd. | ||

I'm not 100% on all the details but I'm pretty confident the ESPN production is limited to SFV and will be pretty different from what people are seeing on Twitch as well. The "presence" of ESPN, especially just for SFV, is not really of impact for the production of the Sunday stream on srkevo1 at all imo | ||

Having it in a stadium kind of make it feel like a capcom cup or a Genesis, more of spectator finale between a couple of pro, or maybe it is just nostalgia. | ||

You're not wrong, but EVO Sunday has been spectator-dominated for a few years now, even in the ballrooms. It really picked up with the inclusion of the Smash games. I know last year there were tons of tweets and jokes about groups of prominent players and community folks watching the finals of some games on their phones in the lobbies and hallways of the hotel because there was no space in the ballroom. | ||
