6 Japanese, 1 Korean, 1 American
3 Nash, 2 Chun, 1 Ken, 1 Mika, 1 Vega/Claw

This is gonna be on ESPN and I'm sort of disappointed at the lack of variety.

Winners bracket:
RZR|Fuudo (R. Mika) vs. MOV (Chun-Li)
Yukadon (Nash) vs. RZR|Infiltration (Nash)

Losers bracket:
HM|Eita (Ken) vs- LI Joe (Nash)
HM|Go1 (Chun-Li) vs. AW|Nemo (Vega)

Hehe, Nash nerfs incoming (and I don't mind). What's this character not good at?
No Birdie, Laura, Ibuki, Alex present in top 50, other 16 were.

Well supposedly he's not good at dealing with wakeup pressure. Turns out that's not a problem because he'll just run away from you for an entire game and do hit an run against you. By the time you walk him into a corner, he'd be able to V-Trigger out and possibly kill you. If you manage to survive that then you'd have to start over in walking him to the other corner.

Notable players LI Joe played in the tournament:

round 1: nobody
round 2: alucarD
quarters: chi-rithy, omgitzandre
to get into top8: squall, fuudo (lost), kazunoko

the only player he won against that means shit is kazunoko, im so glad somebody managed to get into top 8 by showing such talent of going 50% against anybody noteworthy.

evo stream for MK X up

seems they only have 2 cameras at the moment

1 on casters and other on players in their seat

timing on intros & cameras have been pretty off so far, but I guess they got a few hours to smooth things out
E-Sports is competitive video gaming with a spectator fan base. Do not take the word "Sports" literally.

Nothing starts early. If anything things might run late and therefore start late, but if something ends early I'm pretty confident they will just throw it to a break until the scheduled time.

Lot of people mad hatin on LI Joe. Kind of weird. Not everyone has the most insane bracket, sure. But the dude's not a random, is he? He's been around in the scene forever, he took the first SFV major in the US, and tbh I'm hype as hell to see how he does in Finals.

This mentality is really bizarre. Just because the names aren't the top echelon of Street Fighter gods that you recognize doesn't mean they're nobodies he bopped to get to top 8. Chi rithy knocked Justin into losers, before going on to be eliminated by Valle, who was subsequently knocked out by Andre, who is also on Joe's list of kills. Squall is a less common name but he beat Will2pac, Sanford, and Humanbomb before getting knocked to Loser's by Joe. This is just the way tournaments are. And taking out Kaz to get into Top 16 is definitely sick.

Evo might be the biggest event of the year but with 5000 people in a bracket shit always happens every year to make top 8 look crazy. If you want a "refined, worthy" finals then wait for an invitational like the grand finals of the Pro Tour.

following the trends of stunfest and evo "crazy brackets" only happen for western players, compare paths of justin, phenom's, louffy's or joe's to tokido's, haitani's or other top japanese players, its hilarious

Ok so you're just convinced that the brackets are made to give western players an easier path. In that case there's no real discussion to be had.
