It's so frustrating to play someone with bad Internet. Love hitting someone, seeing the damage from their health bar going down, only to see it get added back on and see all their moves be fast forwarded and me end up lying on the ground

Like laggy games in BW sucked but at least it sucked for both players. You seem to get punished in this game if your Internet is good and their's isn't

I hear the rollback can be somewhat one sided, which means the bad connections always feel bad and I can't even feel confident about winning in "good" connections lol. I really hope they do something about the netcode because it's been pretty miserable for me, even searching only 5 bars. I really like the rematch system, but I just can't have fun with the game when I consistently get bad lag. And I know there's probably not much I can do about it on my end because I have fine connections with some friends half way across the US. It's more depressing than frustrating. I want to give the game more time but can't play in these conditions yo

Congrats to Poongko on landing Team Secret sponsor. He has some big shoes to fill on a young organization that already has a winning tradition. I hope he learns to evolve and not be the stubborn player Infiltration accuses him of being. Which makes think if Team Secret has approached Infiltration before he landed Razer. Think that could have been amazing to witness to see an organization dominate so many different genre of games.

Absolutely. There's not too many organizations who are or have been strong in multiple games in multiple genres. Picking up Poongko certainly looks to put Secret in that category. The others who I would have put in that category include Cloud 9 (League/Smash) and Team Liquid (StarCraft/DotA/League/Smash/Street Fighter).

Edit - just looked down the tweets and saw Arturo wouldn't mind being Secret Sabin or Secret Arturo Sanchez:

so i've been maining nash so far and picked up a new fight stick. but I can fairly easily make the critical art connection off qcb lk but qcb mk I connect it like 20% of the time. Didn't really have issues connection with the medium kick on pad so it's confusing me.

The match making system in this game is odd, at least since the last patch.

For a while I was consistently getting paired vs people 500+LP above me. Like every game. Now at a higher level the vast majority of games I'm getting paired to people like 500LP below me. I'm talking like over 50+ match stretches. Is playing vs people not near your current LP the way the system is supposed to work or something? I highly doubt it but my sample size of games isn't that tiny. Maybe at the 2k-3k range things are just more spread out in general?

I'm loving this game so far. Quick fast fun. The rematch option made it infinitely more enjoyable. Now I just wish they'd put a tag team mode...

Tag team mode seems to be pretty unlikely for SFV at least mechanically but it'd be fun with a friend.
