EPTDepends on what IV's it has. If it's like 90+% you're probably fine to just level it up, otherwise just farm more candy and evolve a good one. It's roughly 20k stardust difference, which really isn't that huge.

If it's got dbreath and fair IVs that's potentially better than pushing a perfect IV dratini all the way through and then having it learn the wrong one. STAB is an extra 25% and that's no joke. Either way it's pretty expensive. Probably depends whether dratini candy is more or less valuable to you than stardust. | ||

dunno and dont care lol im like one of the few people in this thread apparently that really doesnt give a shit about IVs and stats lol. i just wanna catch pokemon. i dont have a dragonite yet though so id rather have a 48cp dragonite than not have one at all haha | ||

My highest right now is a 1080 Vaporeon from 4 levels ago... My location is loaded with Weedle and Pidgey which is nice for the lucky egg boost sessions. Eevees are fairly common too so I have two Flareons and Jolteon and a Vaporeon. | ||

Sorry You can always catch better ones at later levels, so unless you're pretty much done grinding out exp/ levels, it's not really that useful to keep around the lower level Pokemon. | ||

Every gym in my area has people my level with 1800 lapras' so...  In fact I don't know if I've ever seen anyone more than two levels higher than me placing 1500+ pokemon to defend. At some point I need an upgrade to the Vaporeon is all I'm saying and I've been waiting 4 levels Believe me I know player level is the most important factor I just want something big and shiny within the last week or two. Mainly so I can reliably take gyms and grind pokecoins. My plan is to buy the 5 lucky eggs, does anyone have a different plan for their pokecoins? | ||
