anyone want to play some games after proleague? i'm not too great of a player but i know the basics. also from what i understand wc3arena is still 1.26? should i update to 1.27 or stay with 1.26? | ||

There's version switchers so you can feasibly play both. All the Euro kids play on w3 arena which is 1.26. Cn/Kr play on NetEase which is 1.27. | ||

I'd say the biggest shift in my personal play was witnessing Sky , I remember how human players played before he came up with his rushes and ultra aggressive styles of play using a race people thought was defensive, and he owned so hard, I think he broke every single match up. When Moon showcased the mass talon strategy against orcs, back then NE's were more dyriad oriented with other units to support depending on the situation, the match up wasnt figured out yet, I believe he did it for the first time against Zacard in a pro game , it blew my fucking mind ! and to this day we can still see the effects. and finally, Zarcard's blademaster, back when orcs were going farseer most of the time, he was the first to really make the blademaster the annoying fucker we all hate today, damn you Zacard ! and an honorable mention, though it never caught up but if it did , it will break the meta, I never understood why TeD's t2 rush with banshees never caught up as a viable option against orcs, he won WCG with it, in fact the only undead to make the match up look somewhat balanced against orcs ! I have never seen a replay of someone else doing it, perhaps its something only TeD can pull of or it isnt refined yet , no idea. | ||
