They changed that with 1.7.1 (iirc)... basically there were low-level firefights and not many people were playing together, but instead just shooting on sight for fear they might get shot on sight (trust no one) So... they removed weapons at the start, hoping those without weapons would be more willing to help those around them... It also means you actually have to play sort of stealthy at the beginning, because let's be honest, if there was a REAL zombie apoc, you wouldn't be running around as fast as you can, you'd probably be crawling through trying not to get the attention of anything for as long as possible | ||

Psst, Dark.. I.. I think the server erm.. I think.. I think it needs restarting around 6pm GMT tomorrow. You know.. for maintenance reasons. I didn't even realise the servers had been down most of the day. Just got home and logged on about a minute after they came up. Lucky day! My friend just found a L85A2 AWS at a site now as well, on a different server. I think the server needs to be Ddos'ed more often! :D | ||

Some dude I arranged a trade with (My l85 for his AS50) just said he didnt need the L85 anymore as he already got one, he still wanted to give me the AS50 tho. He said he didnt want to meet me as he didnt want to get shot. He'd drop it at a spot and I could go pick it up. Pretty fucking shady right? Anyway, accepted, found an AS50+1mag on the ground. =) | ||
