yep. There is only one helicopter on any server atm. If you see one crash, and another before a server restart it means they are hacked in.

Just took down an helicopter with my AS 50 and two friends, we killed the guy, and he killed us with a hack or whatever, just like you can .kill people on private wow servers -.- Still we went back and looted our stuff, and my friend tried the helicopter that was actually still working even with the bottom indicator being red, but he crashed it 1mn later and I couln't drive it myself It's seriously getting ridiculous, on 5 EU servers we played on today, every single one had at least one hacker on.. What the fuck with these people seriously, how can you ruin the game experience shamelessly like that for every other player.. And then you get the little battleeye message saying they banned 11K hackers \o/
People are hacking because they can. It's just that simple really. You basically control the entire server. That's why people are doing it. If the bans where serious there would be less people doing it in my opinion.
What should I do if I want to play with some people on the TL server. I feel like this community is so close that if I go in unannouced, I will be shot on sight... Im downloading teamspeak right now.

It is very easy. We have a ton of veteran players and newer players, all of which are willing to play with/ help anyone. Just tell everyone which part of the map you are on, and if anyone is near they will probably join up with you.

When I first started playing on TL I just jumped on TS and asked "where you guys at?" and then went and joined in on the Cherno sniping

god dammit vilayer disabled my server because I didn't pay? I was told my billing was adjusted forward from 7/12 by a week or so because of all the trouble getting it running in the first place. Apparently they adjusted my billing period the wrong damn direction.

Yep. When DayZ becomes a stand alone game it likely won't change either.
Hopefully, in the future, there will be enough good servers with quality admins to keep hackers away. But for now it's just really shitty. I forgot how bad some PC games can be when there is practically no law at all.
Um.. where do animals spawn? I've got <1k blood and run around in the countryside, fainting and desperately trying to find an animal for some meat. Near the towns I almost always see some animals running around, but there don't seem to be any in the middle of nowhere. Help!

Haha this was exactly me yesterday. Eventually just running through forest and fields I found some animals. Then, with 2 bullets left, I killed a cow...only to see it immediately disappear before I could get any meat lol
I find pigs all the time in forested areas, goats/sheep semi commonly in fields and cows rarely in fields. If you're really desperate there's always rabbits lol
Just look for the peripheral vision dots and you'll find them easy enough
Hey guys, could i get some help? A hacker spawned next to me, north of NE airfield and broke my legs. I am unconscious, broken leg and bleeding :[ As soon as I got hit I ALT+ F4 .
