Well if you think about it, people would have been playing the old leagues anyway, so it's still going to be as much currency added during those 4 months, but theres gonna be less perfect endgame gear, because everyone had to relevel, so perfect endgame gear will get insanely more expensive.

The issue is that a huge pile of currency is going to be dumped into the league at the same time. I guess the real issue will be if more temporary leagues are opened up so people don't go back to playing hardcore. Then all the current hardcore players have an infusion of currency without the playerbase to use it since people will move on to the next onslaught league.
