Yeah DO NOT BUY PS4 USF4 at the moment, it's really broken. Wait for patches, and there will have to be several to fix everything that's wrong with it.

Yeah I'll look for some of the videos people have been spreading around, but there are differences to some moves (Decapre slower teleports and stuff) and sound/visual disasters on other characters.

Oh man, I only saw like half of those.

I wonder when we can expect patches to fix this nonsense. Hell, I wonder if the input lag is even fixable considering how the PS3 was always the worst one out of all of them. Mostly I'm just concerned about Evolution now; Sony and Capcom gave them a lot of money to run the game exclusively on PS4.

PC feels great nowadays imo (NA here). Matches easier to find, lag feels much better on average than it did a few months back when it was a disaster, and if you use the settings that DisplayLag has determined to minimize input lag (which I was not, Vsync oops!) it feels pretty great. The playerbase is probably smaller most of the time compared to XBL still but definitely worth it if you can find and endless lobby with someone you have a great connection too.

The only real issue is you have to add people to your friends list if you want to trash talk them. Games for Windows Live was much better in that regard.

FFM-8 Rumble pools are out:

I won't do a predictions writeup. There are like 20 pools and only about 6 1/2 world class players, so you know who's getting out of each one.

The obvious favorites to make top 8 are Tokido, Bonchan, EBI, Poongko, Luffy, Dark Jiewa, and probably Valmaster.

So there might not be a lot of killers at Rumble this year, but the overall talent level is impressive. A mix of solid old players and up-and-comers are all likely to be very competitive well into the ro32. RMZ, Pro Fluke, Problem X, Valmaster, WSO Andreas, Emersion, most of the MDZ players, and a bunch of #1 online monsters are present.

Also, FFM confirmed that the USF4 stream will be http://www.twitch.tv/fight_club_nrw, so I'm glad I wasn't talking out of my ass on this one.

Midwest Championships 2015 is this weekend. It's a small tournament hosted by PandaxGaming, so it's obviously overshadowed by FFM Rumble 8. MWC2015 is mostly focused on Smash 4/Melee/PM as well as MKX, but they do have a USF4 tournament as well. The event starts the 30th of May at 1:00 PM CDT.

I don't think I've ever seen counter-hit slide... into another slide. I don't watch many Rose matches though. That Dhalsim seemed like he could've been really good against someone else.
