anyone else having an insane amount of difficulty dealing with rammus? I feel him and xin are the 2 best characters in the game at the moment. Rammus is very under rated in my oppinion. He has so much move with the ball, taunt is so strong in league of legends and then you have that shield where he takes no damage :/.

shen is a better rammus.

kayle is really really strong. but sometime she can be boring. farming and pushing tower all game long. go into teamfight and kill everyone. or maybe i am just playing her wrong

I think my list pretty accurately describes which champions are the best in most situations with most players but ofcourse if your team is a bunch of people that should be 300 lower, you can pretty much carry with anyone.

I agree with Phrost's list for the most part... I just don't believe in tier lists because every hero can be played rather viably :p

I suppose i could not use "tier" to desribe it but it was more of a list of strong picks for ranked play, the higher groups are generally stronger when taken into account your team comp could be anything (ie tier A picks work generally with anything)

Somebody tell me I'm wrong, but I swear AP Yi is better than AD Yi. AP Yi can abuse Alpha Strike and Meditate, making him a laning/farming monster. His items give the mana to cast them again when he gets a Highlander kill. Both builds are squishy, but AP doesn't have to get in and stay in close to do his damage. And Yi doesn't even need attack damage boosts to shred towers, R + E are often enough, Rageblade seals the deal.

hah yeah I've planned for that, haven't actually got to use it though, everything dies pretty fast.

Olaf has one amazing role he does in teamfights. He can't be disabled so he can just run up to your squishies and start whacking that Ashe or whatever and completely force her to be outside the fight. He doesn't even need to kill her, he can drive the squishies away and give the numerical advantage to the team for a while. I think that many people just don't know how good he can be when played properly.
