Not that bad. Well.. maybe like 300ms? Jamie and I play with 500ms from Korea and it's doable. We can still raid and such.
If you're gonna buy a new account, you should do the refer a friend thing with someone so that you gain exp 3 times faster.  We have plenty of low levelers who can level with you.

I'm willing to level with you using RAF, I think Korea is like 8 hours ahead of CET though so we'd have to figure out a schedule when we can both play. Let me know ^^

What I'm gonna miss is not my char so much, but all the items I have on him (them). All my gold -and I have a decent amount - boa items, badges and all the items I have farmed. Plus I wont be able to buy fly mount (and tome for northrend). That's what's holding me back. Mostly that with no money for epic mounts and boa tome ^^
Does RAF work all the way up to lvl 80?
Even with all the downsides I think I will start a char :D I don't know where CET is measured from, but I'm +1 GMT. And I have the option of being online from 1700-2200 (5pm-10pm) (+1 GMT) during normal weekdays and ofcourse a lot more in weekends

Edit: RAF is forbidden in Denmark (serious). Lets see if we can find a way to work around it when I make an account. I have no clue how RAF works. I guess I need to make an account first, right?

RAF works until 23 or 25, because unless you upgrade the referred account the referred account can only get to 20. Once you're either 3 or 5 levels higher you can no longer get the benefit of the RAF.

Yeah, I play on an american server from Sweden and it's about 300ms, so it's not too bad.

You can get mounts at lvl 20! Level 20! I remember at 20 I was running stockades and didn't even have a mount and had to wait till level 40 for one... oh all that time wasted walking and running
