Rough day for Center Good luck in the up and down matches! PartinG is a tough opponent (playing like one of the very best in the world atm). No shame in losing today. Pull off some more upsets in the up and downs :D
|
Yeah, Parting is pretty good. Still think he's got a good chance to advance from the Up/Downs.

Awww, well, no shame in losing to one of the best Protosses in the world. Center can upset the U/D though, so we might see another TSL Terran not named Polt in Code S

Polt has left Korea and TSL to you, Center.
Now slam dunk it.

Um, well good luck with finding a new team Center! We all know how good you are, really hope you get the chance to develop your play to a Code S level!

Time for TL to pick him up and to transform him into the next Polt.

What's up with all the people saying TL made Taeja so good? I know some will always be biased towards the team on this website, but you need to remember how Taeja was dominating everyone in korean online tournaments and the only other tournament he could take part in his country was GSL. He didn't win it neither before nor after joining TL but he did have the chance to show his already existing skill in foreign tournaments and teamleagues afterwards. TL gave him great opportunities to attent more tournaments but they didn't exactly pick him up when he was a nobody and turn him into a top player.

Hoping for Center to take it all today. Only FanTaSy and finale would be difficult, but he has a chance against both with his decent TvT and TvP.
|
I think he takes all 's and disposes of Nestea. Fantasy will be harder, but I hold Center as the slight favourite.

Center is currently playing against Minigun in IPTL TSL vs coL. It's TSL's last team match + Show Spoiler [IPTL spoilers] +Center wins easily tricking minigun into not seeing half his marines and scv pull coming. Minigun has like 3 sentries and a stalker and gets crushed by the attack. TSL 1-1 coL. next opponent is qxc T_T he died to 4 hellions vs qxc

Fell to DRG in the IPL6 International qualifier, but it was DRG who ended up taking the whole thing by storm, so no real shame in that.

So Center has signed with a team and it just hasn't been announced yet. Where do you guys think he will go? I'm hoping a strong team like maybe FXO since they just had a few people retire and now have some roster space. He could replace asd as the #2 terran and be in their GSTL starting 5

I'm trying to think who in ESF needs more terrans. FXO has Gumiho and TheBest. ST has Hack Bomber Sound etc so probably not them. IM has plenty. NSH wont be signing anyone. maybe MVPCenter

LiquidCenter would be really awesome and it would be fitting. Liquid needs terran behind TaeJa especially with his injury and Center has lots of potential to grow into a great player if a team like Liquid stands behind him and gives him the oppurtunities necessary.
I can only hope T_T
Well, Quantic_Center is also not bad.

Almost time for a repeat of last GSL Code A season.

Damn he is good. Congratulations Center!

He has to beat ByuN again and face the 3rd place of Group C, which is arguably the weakest group in Code S right now... I think starting HotS in Code S is 100% possible.

Mah boi. Funny that it's a repeat of last season. Hope he picks off ByuN and then he has to beat Sniper (don't you ruin our party, Ladykiller).

Center will be in Up/Down Group B vs Shine, Killer, Ryung, EffOrt and Creator.
Very tough group, but he has a good chance to advance. Center fighting!
|
It certainly is a challenging group, especially with Ryung, EffOrt and Creator, but Center has beaten the odds, and he demonstrated he can play close with Code S players at times. I hope Center can make it to Code S for HotS, he has shown immense potential and just needs this one break to show he can compete with the best.

+ Show Spoiler [Up & Down] +Center put up a good fight but unfortunately he was unable to secure a spot in Code S next season going 2-3 in his Up and Down Matches. He defeated Killer and Shine, the latter of which advanced to Code S, but unfortunately fell to Ryung, Creator, and EffOrt. The game vs EffOrt was fairly close but he just fell too far behind in the late game. Basically everything went wrong with his opening getting scouted vs Ryung putting him too far behind to ever recover. Creator wiped the floor with everyone in the group. Two close up and down trips in a row. I can't help but thing Center's getting close to making it to Code S. Hopefully this next season after he beats Seed in the first round again.
|
Aaahhhh D: So close yet again. Center goes 2-3 in the Up/Down group and remains in Code A for another season.

As long as Center doesn't collapse from exhaustion, I still think he has a great chance of qualifying.

Dang, Center loses 2-1 against Jaedong and fails to make it to NA Premier League. Maybe the Challenger's League will prove more fruitful for him.

ez group. Center should get top 2 and I think he'll win it

Center has won a set against Buffy, and is now leading 1-0 against Naniwa.

Center is through to the next round after beating ToD as well. 3-0 in sets, like a BOSS.

Center's group for stage 3 now confiirmed: Center Puzzle Strelok SortOf
Apparently Center lost 2-1 to Puzzle. :c Hopefully he can stomp down Strelok and SortOf to advance.
But he doesn't. Center falls 0-2 to SortOf and is out of DH. Sad face.

Nice try against TaeJa, Center went pretty close at times, but he couldn't keep up with TaeJa's TvT adeptness. A good result anyways, taking out HerO is no easy feat.

Yeah he looked good against HerO. Unfortunately TaeJa is in his WCS America Challenger qualifiers bracket. Maybe he can make some adjustments and pull off the upset
|

Sad to see Center drop out so unceremoniously. Maybe next time he can do better in different qualifiers and tournaments.

Center is quite consistent in DreamHack events but he gets unlucky by facing powerful opponents. After seeing Center play recently he does look more prepared and polished overall. Hope he can make a Ro8 showing this time around.
|
|
United States97247 Posts
I thin Ro8 is definitely achievable. Players he should be worried about are HyuN, Jaedong, Yugioh, and probably Lucifron. No one else really stands out as favored against him imo.
