Igor "fraer" Turchin is a 20 years old Ukranian Protoss player for Radical Online X-tremists. He has been a long time RoXKIS member since the BW days. With the release of SC2 together with his RoX teammates he has switched to SC2.
Fraer has shown impressive results throughout 2012 with the cherry on top being his recent Dreamhack Summer performance, finishing 3rd/4th. On top of that he has won 3 ZOTAC Monthly Final's in a row! January, February and March 2012.
Watchout for this guy as he clearly has some serious skills!

Talked to White-Ra a bit about Fraer yesterday and this guy is an old BW gamer who actually knocked down White-Ra to the Losers Bracket in WCG (Which White-Ra later won).
From what I've heard (not 100% sure about this) he also only started playing SC2 a year ago, before that he played a lot of WoW.

In BW he also played for ROX.KIS and had some succes but because of his age he couldn't attend to WCG so he lost motivation and gone into WOW.
ROX.KIS created junior SC2 squad in september 2011, Fraer joined it in about november and started playing full-time since then so totall it's 8 months.

Ignore him... to be honest, if you're not in tune with all the cups going on, you probably haven't heard of fraer until his recent breakout performance, so his ignorance can be forgiven

This guy just doesnt stop.
Beats Lucifron 3-1 to advance to Ritmix semi final.
Beats Golden and Nerchio 2-0 to advance to ZOTAC monthly semi final. He is now 7-0 against Nerchio. Now facing Hyun.
Deserving to be in the TLPD Top5 once again.
Edit: 2-0 Hyun. Now in the final.

Happy birthday! Next week DreamHack Winter and the following week he'll be at WCG smashing PartinG, Yonghwa or MKP. I've only watched him at three LAN tournaments in his whole SC2 career and now he's gonna be at two in two weeks. Can't wait, hoping for some great games!

By the way, on WCG vs White-Ra fraer play as random and win 2 0. Also he said he can play random vs protoss on tournaments. Now fraer top 1 random in global ladder

Well, he isn't even non-featured, looks like he has been streaming only through twitch/goodgame.ru so far, I think some exposure on TL wouldn't hurt him.

I saw his stream listed on TL once but I didnt know he doesnt do it usually, does anyone know where he is rightnow? at home?

He streamed a few times on own3d a year ago from what I can remember but apparently he switched to twitch yesterday. No clue where he is, at home is probably a good guess.^^
There are some older VODs here but most of it is not fraer but Pomi streaming.

fraer is playing ZOTAC Monthly Final October today (for whatever reason this happens in december, but okay). He just won 2-1 in the first round against former ROOT member Major. Next round against the winner of Tree - Milkea, doable either way, don't know if Tree even still plays since FXO dropped him.
Khaldor is streaming the cup, so you might see fraer again in the next rounds.

Fraer needs some more attention he is easily showing himself to be a top EU protoss most recently winning his group in Ritmix RSL III which had Scarlett and Gumiho in it and some other good results in dreamhack. Keep it up Fraer!!

Fraer and the other ROX guys are playing EG Master's Cup finals this weekend where they'll probably beat Acer a bunch and lose to TL a bunch, so if you want to tune in, it starts in like six hours. Pretty sure fraer is going to do quite well.
You're going to see him at least in two BO3s and at most in four BO3s. Probably four, because Team ROXKIS is awesome.

Yeah, Acer fielded Paranoid instead of Scarlett so ROX.KIS definitely have a good chance. but it'll most likely be a close and entertaining match!

Yay, fraer just won another ZOTAC Cup over Neoangel and yesterday the Qiwi Wallet Cup over Slavik and Siw.
And he's playing EGMCSL right now, you can watch him everywhere. :D

fraer just lost to Happy in the Sunday ZOTAC Cup, at least he's playing again.
Looking forward to seeing him in RSL vs aLive and VortiX soon, probably either in the upcoming week or the week after.

Fraer will play in Ritmix RSL vs Bly tomorrow, if he wins he'll face the winner of Oz vs LoWeLy in the third match of the day, could be very fun!
I thought it'd be neat if we could collect some of his VODs here like opterown does with CreatorPrime, so I'll start by linking all the matches from DreamHack I could find.

Today it was announced grid of TechLabs Cup which will play fraer 23 March in Moskow
Semifinals:
VP.Slivko vs Empire.Happy
Rox.Fraer vs Empire.Kas
1st place - 1500$
2nd place - 700$
3rd place - 300$
So, Fraer had bad winrate vs Kas in Wol, but i hope in hots its change.

I guess I can stop hoping for a successful tournament until he starts training seriously again, if he ever decides to do that, as long as he plays 30-40 games per month he won't get to the point where he can beat the good pros. Hopefully he will come back some day, he could still be very good if he wanted.
