A comparatively new player in the Sc2 scene, Antoine “Dayshi” Stievenart is a high level Terran player from France. Having competed in numerous French LANs, he’s quickly establishing himself as a top player of France. Already he’s shown himself to be arguably France's top terran and one of their best players overall. He's been a mainstay of the upper rungs of the European Grandmaster League but until recently hasn't made too big of a name for himself outside of his home country. Still, he's been working hard to remedy that with strong showings in the Acer Teamstory Cup, qualifying for WCS EU Premier Division on his first try, and taking big wins in various online cups.
Playstyle :
Dayshi plays a remarkably standard brand of Terran, almost to a fault. In six of the seven recent TvPs of his that I watched, he opened one barracks expand into three Barracks, Engineering Bay for +1 attack, and a quick Starport with Reactor. Similarly, he’s inclined to open with a Reactor Hellion expand in TvZ with a transition to standard Marine/Tank. Still, what he lacks in variety, he makes up for with astounding fundamentals. He has great macro, impeccable control, always seems to make the right decisions, and just seems to have a really solid grasp on how to play the game.
As he continues to establish himself as a top competitor and people start to figure out his style, he’ll be forced to add more variety.
Personality :
Unfortunately there isn’t that much known about exactly who Dayshi is. I’ll see if I can’t snag an interview with him eventually. Still, part of the reason I was so quick to develop a mancrush is that he seems to be pretty easy-going with a sense of humour. I have prepared some of his quotes from the replays I’ve watched of him, including a translation I did despite not actually speaking French. Enjoy :

Well :D I can fill you in on that. The times I've played him on ladder he always disregard his losses to imbalance. Every time I beat him in a macro game, archon splash/protoss lategame is OP. Every time I 5gate him, 5gate is unbeatable and Protoss can do anything and still win.
The only time I pulled a gg out of him was when he offraced as Zerg.
But I'm sure he's a nice guy when he's in a calm state. ^^

Yeah I've heard a bunch of times now that he's pretty bm so of course I have no choice but to believe. Personally I've never been one to care about that so the fanclub lives on!

He is better and better. The fact that Nerchio is loosing most games on ladder vs Dayshi (according to Nerchio himself) and right now he is kicking Bly's ass in Zotac Monthly Final and before that Revival's, meaning he is really good
