To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

Oh was it, I don't keep up to date with every page. I think the performance vid is new though, so I don't think it's spam. As far as saying that they're gimicky, I don't think so. If they have the talent to play instruments, and bring that into kpop, then that's already a feat in itself compared to all that saturation of the same thing we are experiencing with boy/girl groups.

Oh actually; I dunno if performance version was put out. Might be wrong. You'd be surprised how many idols do play instruments; most them just don't do it as part of their shtick.

Zinni is the guitar player; not Jiyeon. Seohyun plays piano at a pretty high level I think? Henry from Suju-M plays violin and piano at extremely high level.

E-Young from AS plays a lot of different instruments. Didn't they have a teaser of her just playing some instrumental of "First Love" ?
Yeah; you're right about E-young, she's an instrumentalist. A lot of idols play instruments; mostly as a "talent" that's commonly scouted for in idols.
I think it tends to follow that if you're spending the bulk of your life in the music industry, you're probably going to pick up at least one instrument. Whether you actually keep playing it or atrophy is another thing.
Went to inkigayo and saw Apink and Infinite. First time to see Apink, it was a dream come true to finally stand in the crowd and hear the park chorong, yun bomi... fanchant. Serious goosebumps. Apink fanclub was surprisingly strong maybe 200 people not that different from a band like shinees turnout. I guess they are really popular now.
Bias before was Chorong&Namjoo > Bomi > Na eun > others. Reality was Na eun >>>> Namjoo > Others. Naeun´s appearance is like a fairytale... Poor chorong looked so thin and her hairstyle was not doing her any favors.
Infinites fans were tempbanned because of taking pictures earlier in the day, so only the apink fanclub was cheering for them. But Apink fanclub surprised infinite with their loud fanchants. Apinks support was so loud that Dongwoo started laughing in the middle of the performance because he was so surprised. Lots of guys trolling him and cheering him on. Afterwards he came to thank the apink fanclub for the support and i shook his hand briefly. Funny guy dongwoo. Some infinite guys did the apink nonono dance as thanks too.
