and I have to admit the Freezing manga is pretty good actually even though the anime became a boobfest and GOSICK is fairly good too and it has a goth loli detective with a smoking pipe | ||

And it's not like only foreigners have to watch anime streams, as far as I know even in Japan the anime dont air at the same time in every region so even they have to watch stuff in the internet if they dont want to wait or pay for somthing like AT-X So the japanese themselves upload the anime and then some fansubbers get these uploads and sub them. Of course streams like FUNimation will get ripped because they dont stream without fees and this is my personal opinion their fansubs are not that good. So in the end the japanese studio just hurt itself with that step by increasing the download numbers for the next fractacle episodes. And what I dont understand is why would they even think that taking the show off FUNimation would help. FUNimation cant do anything about the subs, the studio loses money because they broke the contract and viewers that downloaded the anime wont go to FUnimation and pay for it anyway. | ||

HOLY FUCK I was not expecting how dark it was going to be. The way they introduce seemingly nice and friendly characters and kill them off minutes later is pretty hard to become accustomed to when you're used to the very cookie cutter style of story telling most things follow. No one is allowed to be happy, either. The closest anyone gets is a very bittersweet moment. That said, I was reading up on it and I guess the anime cuts out halfway through when the manga does. I looked for the manga online but I can only find it in Japanese. Do any of you cool cats know where I could find it? Either to buy or to read online? I really enjoyed the story and the characters, and I'd love to read a more detailed telling of the story. | ||

If people rip the official stream and share it, it's because they don't want to pay for it (so maybe think of other method like adding ads) BUT if people fansub the anime and ignore the official stream that because the quality is just crap and the fan want something better. it's not because that is the "official" one that we will watch it but because it's the best. | ||

And its entirely possible for them to come out with fast simulcasts. One Piece is streamed on Funimation just 1 hour after its airred in Japan. And I don't know much about streaming technology, but Youtube allows 720p videos, so why can't Funimation air their shit in the resolution people want? But the bottom line for the recent Funimation drama is "LOL lets completely eliminate the legal option, THAT will teach those people illegally subbing it!" | ||
