How hard is it to read the thing at the top and see that there are plenty of recommendations to choose for. If you're going to come in here and ask, at least give us more than just "Oh, these are the things I'm watching. Recommend now?" Sorry, I have probably trained my mind to block out every message which sits on top of threads. Because of the threads during tournaments where all the messages are the same Anyway, thx for the list. Also, what else information do you want me to give? The series I have watched and are watching which I have enjoyed and are enjoying should give you more seasoned anime watchers a good idea as to what I found interesting. If you want me to describe what genres, or type of animesI like, I couldn't give you a good answer, listing the anime's I have watched made more sense to me. Out of what you've listed, I guess the only thing missing is probably Bleach.
On the topic of watching anime per season, I think 5-8 sounds like a good average, 13 seems high. I tend to pick about 5-8 before the season airs, then drop 1-2 if I don't like, and then pick up 1-2 half way through that others talk about in this thread.

It was good from start to finish. One of the very few animes that I kept up with, consistently, on a regular basis.
I was kinda debating whether they should have a second season or not. But with the way things ended, I feel very content and left with a nice sense of closure.
This is easily a recommendable anime to anyone who likes "slice of life".
It was pretty much My Life: the anime if i played some card game and not scbw
Like example, the episode where + Show Spoiler + taichi and nishida were playing eachother and they were down to one card simply because of the games I play competitively (a card game called yomi, and I had a brief period where I took pokemon seriously), situations like that happen in tournament play a lot for me. Where I have no control over what happens in the end and it is purely chance. I've been on the winning side of that and the losing side.
But this show is consistently throwing relatable themes at me from episode 4 all the way to the end. 9/10 show, only downside was the first 3 episodes and the fact it is an adaptation of an ongoing manga so there was no good ending.

On a related note, been rewatching logh this past month after 3 years of the first viewing. I forgot so much from the first half but now it's already getting a bit boring (!?) cos I seem to remember more from the later episodes. t_t Guess I'm not much of a rewatcher if i have trouble getting through my favorite anime the second time. Only took me 5 days the first time I watched it.

A bit late to the party it seems, I'm at 303 Completed and including my currently watching series my time is at:
5 months 2 weeks 3 days 13 hours and 51 minutes, not counting anime I've rewatched of course..so mathy maths it and equals like 170 days give or take? I used to have a MAL but I migrated to anime-planet since I like the interface better.

Is there going to be an update to see the 2012 spring anime list? I like looking through it and choosing some to watch

The OP rarely updates anymore.
So much brag posts the last two pages. I've only watched around 20 anime I think. And it's not going to get that much higher.

lol, well I've had many a years to accumulate mine. Taken year breaks here and there as well so, not as high if I took it upon myself to finish all the anime I've ever wanted to watch.

I've been casually watching anime since the last year, and I've only managed to spend 9.7 days worth of anime on 28 shows >.>

Yuruyuri was slap stick comedy iirc.
Kiseki is nothing like that. Drama between 4 girls, thats about. Pretty fcking boring imo. Cliche levels 100%.

Well, the difference is that this is made by Sunrise. You know, the mecha studio.
This also means that one of the characters will wear a mask and/or sunglasses.

I only know of the original Saint Seiya anime myself + OVAs, is there another one? The way you stated it makes it seems like it's like a Sengoku Jidai anime, of which there are a zergillion (Yes, true facts and sciencey things have been put into researching that number)

Your list is relatively small, so it's hard to derive any real recommendation on such a small amount of anime. If you're new to anime, the chart is all you need. If you have more anime that you've watched, you might want to consider compiling a MAL which we can use to look at your scores and see what you like the most.
Yeah, i'm new to anime

Opposite for me, i hadn't slept for 4 days when i watched Angel Beats! and became euphoric and extremely happy after finishing it (i did cry during the ending though). Watch Clannad and Clannad After Story, they made me depressed for days and made me reconsider my life, best anime ever created imo.
