All about being witty here, still enjoyable. besides him leaving they akmost didn't even need to meet with him though >.>

Except Kaiki is completely essential and the fighting is just a distraction from the main theme and stuff?

At least vicious is dead I guess, he was such a typical groany villain. Imo this is a very good anime, and they made the length just right, not long enough to be boring, not short enough to be too short.

+ Show Spoiler +This is more an issue of initial reaction rather than thought out reasoning. If you were told your best friend actually isn't who he said he was and killed the original and somehow managed to replace him/her in society without anyone noticing, your first thoughts probably wouldn't be "that changes nothing about who I know this person is!" Furthermore, he's never fully trusted Yuno because he knows she's a crazy yandere who keeps corpses in her house - and later, digs a giant hole to bury them and rewrites her memories and forgets about them.
As for how long it took him to man up, yeah that was annoying, but ironically, the show would move a lot faster if he went boss mode much earlier lol. Overall, I enjoyed the pace of the story and am glad the anime is following the manga so closely. However, prior to his parents' deaths, he had no reason or desire to become god and fix everything. His mindset has never been to help others; it's always been selfish and what's in his interest. That's why as soon as his dad was killed, he was able to make his decision. But there's actually an even more important reason which I won't spoil.

The DVD version looks so much better, lol. Well, if you stream it, guess there isn't much you can do about it. Later seasons look alot better than the first one, even with laserdisk quality.

+ Show Spoiler [Aquarion EVOL 01-02] +So this would be my first real mecha anime that I watched. And so far, its left a good impression on me. Best way to describe how I feel is that, this anime is what I expected from GC. Or rather, this is like IS except not being complete shit.
I always worry that if I tried to watch a anime that was "mecha-like" (in a serious degree) I would have a hard time understanding the plot etc. But this one wasnt that hard to get a grasp on.
So far what I got was:
-Their mecha units are combined by 3 vectors
-Each vector is piloted by either Male or Female
-Theyre not supposed to unite Male or Female vectors
-But they did, and this is considered a forbidden union cause of "god" powers.
-The union of vectors make a Aquarios/Aquarion or w/e
-They use them to fight off Abductors, who abduct civilians
-One of these Abductors is horny for a girl (lol?)
-Some of the pilots (maybe not all?) have a element power within them
-MC's power is to fly when hes excited (the other dude, can see visions of the future)
Uh... I think thats about it for the mecha aspect. But for the school life aspect, oh man oh man. So much that I already like. MC has some chick he digs, typical broad, and they seemed destined for each other. And he gets thrown into a battle where he mans the fuck up and kicks ass. Then hes gonna get involved in a school where they seperate girls from boys cause of "forbidden" union. But of course, theyre all horny as fuck. And all the teachers dont want them to do all that shiz. How amazing is that? Yes yes yes!!! Zessica baby, only named I cared to remember so far. xD
