The most similar anime I've watched to LoGH is Crest/Banner of the Stars. Its roughly 30 something episodes all together. Similar to LoGH, except with alien space elves. Still a space opera, lots of politics, ship battles, and stuff like that. I think LoGH is better (seeing as how LoGH is one of my favorite animes), but Crest/Banner are still really good watches. Beyond them, I remember there was another series more recently that was supposed to be like LoGH, but was incredibly disappointing or something. Tytania, I think its name is?
