It's not like Dofla with his strings forced Law to use his powers, right? A puppet seems to be likely as well, I agree. Everything else seems to be kinda unlikely. But I guess we'll have to wait till next week or so in order to find out.

http://readms.com/r/one_piece/743/2321/11 With Pica's ability to change the structure of the castle and move anywhere in it, it is most likely that he switched places with Doflamingo by forming himself as the image of Doflamingo. Thus he takes the decapitation by Kyros (who probably didn't use Haki, whether he had it or not, since it is expected that Doflamingo isn't a logia). Either that or Pica created a stone statue of Doflamingo, where Doflamingo can remotely control the statue with his strings.

It stretches the suspension of disbelief as a part of a story that you want to enjoy. Devil fruits and sky islands are reacted with by shock generally by the inhabitants of one peice and are internally consistent and so readers can enjoy the story. Some things are things we as a people deal with in everyday life; it's not suprising that people would mention that Curos seems to have an amazing athletic ability for someone with one leg. People also mention the strange proportion some humans have in Oda's artwork, or that hits that should kill a person are shrugged off.

![]() ![]() However, one thing I don't understand. I know the city has a strict curfew in place at night where everyone must go inside, presumably because this is the time for sugar to sleep. If the toys turn back to humans when she's asleep, how do they control them all in human form? Also, you can force a curfew on people, but you can't force them to fall asleep before sugar does, so they would regain their memories of people while they're at home, but awake. Of course, they would lose their memories again once sugar wakes up, but then back to the prob of controlling all the prisoners in human form.

I considered that possibility, but then why the need for a night time curfew? Also, this part I might be wrong as I don't remember, but I thought the toys were separated from humans too during the curfew?

Doflamingo's head popping off so suddenly smells like Oda troll through and through and we won't know until at least next week, but the other possibility (if he actually died, since Curos has been set up to be super badass and all - can't imagine after 3k straight wins he wouldn't have Haki and the like to deal with fruit powers) would be that there's someone else as the big bad for the arc. Past Doflamingo, it'd probably have to be an Emperor. And Sanji is currently fighting with one of their ships. So there's that possibility. Seems like a stretch, but there's just way too many big players in Dressrosa at the moment that I actually forgot some of it. Like the anime reminded me that CP0 is there. Given all the people that just got released from being a toy, a vast majority of them will probably be incredibly grateful to the Straw Hats - aka, tons of strong allies in the New World with which to go up against the four Emperors. A massive fleet isn't really Luffy's style, but all that gratitude is something to consider.

Also the girl mentions hack at the end of the chapter, the fishman we suspected to be with the revolutionaries.

A massive fleet isn't really Luffy's style, but all that gratitude is something to consider. That thought has crossed my mind more then once after reading this chapter. Not sure I believe it fully but I definetely wouldn't rule out Oda just sweeping Dofla a side in favor of having a Yonko as the final boss of this arc. Dolfa's plans are already fucked anyway he has lost control of the island and been exposed, Sabo is gonna wreck the factory beating him up doesn't seem that important anymore. If anything I'd say maybe Doflamingo retreats to regroup seeing as he has no reason to stay on the island anymore leaving the Straw Hats(And new free'd allies) to deal with Big Mom. Oda really could go anywhere from here, you have CP0 still to deal with as well. The more I think about it the more likely I think it is that Dofla is going to back away, gather up his crew and gtfo. That would give Law the out to go chase him since he wants him dead ending the alliance officially while Luffy gets his chance to fuck up a Yonko. Either way I think one or two of the 3 main bad guys is going to have to leave without a fight right now, that would be wayyyy to much to deal with in one arc. Whether it's Big Mom, CP0 or Doflamingo I have no idea.
